Intercultural Youthcamp 20.-24.7.2026
Sport, swimming in the lake, creative activities, sightseeing, campfires, devotions… These are the activities planned for this year’s Together in Christ intercultural youth camp during the 2026 summer holidays. Above all, however, the focus is on the fellowship of young Christians from different backgrounds.
This time, the youth camp will be held at the Petershagen Youth Hostel. It is a stylish former stately home situated right on the River Weser, with spacious facilities, and located near Minden. That’s why there are also a number of attractions nearby that we’d like to visit.
- Dates: 20–24 July 2026
- Participants: around 20 young people/young adults aged 14 and over
- Accommodation: Petershagen Youth Hostel
- Arrival and departure by minibus from Detmold
- Leader: Team centred around Mahboubeh Jaberi, project manager of Together in Christ.
- Own contribution: 50 € (This is only possible with the great support of the Lippische Landeskirche)
The Youth Camp is organised by the Together in Christ which includes the Detmold-West parish (Lippische Landeskirche), English-speaking Christians, the Church of Pentecost Detmold, the International Bible Group (mostly Persian speaking) and the Protestant-Korean parish in Detmold.
We would like to have a wide range of participants from the various groups and beyond. If there are a large number of registrations, a selection may have to be made.
