Praising the Lord in Song – International Choir Workshop

We invite you to an international choir workshop which takes place on the last Saturday of each month. In three compact hours plus a break, we learn songs from different cultures and church traditions. Above all, we experience how singing together unites people in all their diversity. Previous musical knowledge is not necessary; what is important is to enjoy singing together and to be open to different languages and musical styles. In the future, the songs will also be sung in the international church service.

The Together in Christ team is delighted to have found the ideal leader for the choir workshop in Christian Akoa. Akoa is an opera singer trained in Detmold and has also studied “Cultural Diversity in Music Education”.

The workshops always take place on the last Saturday of each month from 10 am to 1 pm. The location is the Versöhnungskirche Detmold in Martin -Luther-Straße 39. You can find the dates in the sidebar.
